Kidnap charge for would-be romeo
(Reported by Ananova - UK)
A lovestruck German banker allegedly staged the kidnap of a workmate - and then rescued her so she'd fall for him.
Tom Mueller, 36, from Eisingen, was desperate for his 30-year-old colleague to fancy him but thought he didn't stand a chance.
Police say he broke into Tanja Schulze's home in the middle of the night and told her that he was the boss of a ruthless kidnap gang.
Wearing a mask and speaking English to disguise his voice, Mueller allegedly tied her up and put a bag on her head while he ransacked her home for four hours.
Then he rang the doorbell, ripped off his mask, and rushed into the house to rescue her claiming he'd frightened off the gang.
But police say they found Miss Schulze's purse - supposedly stolen by the gang - in his pocket.
Now the hapless Romeo is facing kidnapping, unlawful entry, and theft charges over his stunt.

ARE MEN AT RISK OF BECOMING EXTINCT?
Something is happening to today's boys and men:
Around the world, fewer are being born compared with girls.
They're having more trouble in school.
Virility and fertility are down and testicular cancer rates are up.
And now, scientists say these "fragile males" may be more vulnerable than females to pollutants, affecting their development as early as the womb.
According to a study from the University of Pittsburgh, the United States and Japan are going backward in their male populations. The two countries produced 262,000 fewer boys than girls from 1970 to 2000 because of a decline in the sex ratio at birth.
While it could just be a statistical hiccup, lead researcher Devra Davis she says the figure is "very worrisome."
Some Reasons for the Decline in Boys ...
1. Declining harvest -- Men in farm country have low sperm counts when compared to guys who live in the city. This makes scientists wonder if pesticides are hurting male fertility.
2. Downsizing -- While it's disputed by chemical companies, some researchers say they have found an everyday plastic compound that feminizes baby boys, causing their reproductive organs to be smaller.
3. Lost mojo -- If you're a middle-aged man, you're likely to be less virile than your father because you make less testosterone. In recent decades, the decline has averaged about 1% a year. If it continues over another generation or two, things could get bad.

Chinese Democracy To Drop In November?
Is the wait finally over?
According to RollingStone.com, it is rumored that Guns N' Roses' long-awaited new album Chinese Democracy will be released exclusively through Best Buy on November 25th.
The source of the rumor is a supposed "vendor convention" that Best Buy had on Wednesday in Dallas, Texas. Guns manager Andy Gould told the 900 employees the news about Chinese Democracy before previewing three songs from the album.
Gould also reportedly revealed that the new GN'R song "If The World" will be featured in the closing credits for the upcoming Leonardo DiCaprio/Russell Crowe film "Body of Lies", which was confirmed by message boarders on movie websites (like IMDB) who happened to catch a press screening of the film yesterday.

...At this point of given false hope over the last 15 years, will anyone really care? Not unless it's like the 2nd coming of Jesus. If this report is correct, this album better not let down after how many postponings. We'll see, I'll have more on this as I get it.

Dude, Where's My Manhood???
(Originally reported by The Shelbyville Sentinel)
A lawsuit accuses a Frankfort, Kentucky doctor of amputating a man's penis without his consent. A malpractice suit was filed against Doctor John Patterson, who performed the surgery.
Phillip and Deborah Seaton say Phillip went to Patterson last October for a circumcision, which resulted in the doctor removing Phillip's penis. The lawsuit states that, "Despite having no consent to remove his penis and despite being advised by Phillip that he did not want him to remove any part of his penis other than the foreskin, Doctor Patterson removed the penis."
The suit says that Seaton has suffered and will suffer much mental anguish and pain, as well as a loss of enjoyment of life, and that he will incur medical expenses because of the injury.

GET OUT & PUSH !!!

You've seen it on TV, on the street, etc. People out of their car/van/truck pushing to get it down the road. Well, this story tops all of those... Reports by Ananova
Airport workers get the push
A Chinese airport shocked passengers and flight crew - by sending 30 workers to push a faulty plane off a runway.
It took them nearly two hours to push the CRJ7 plane, with 69 passengers and seven-strong crew on board, less than half a mile to a side lane.
"Thank God, it was only a 20 tonne medium-sized airplane. If it had been a big plane, it would have knocked us out," said one man, who said he had never experience anything like it in ten years working at the airport.
Airport officials explained that plane's front hydraulic system was faulty and meant it could not be attached to a tow truck.
It happened at Zhengzhou airport where the flight from Guilin had a rocky landing because of the mechanical failure.
"Luckily the airplane was able to brake on time and all the passengers are safe," a spokesman told Henan Business Daily..
Crew and passengers watched in amazement as several vehicles arrived with sirens blaring, and 30 people jumped off the trucks and started to push the airplane.
The plane is still parked in the side lane, waiting for technicians to fix the problem.
